Membership in The Optimist Club of Chapel Hill

By joining an Optimist Club you will ensure that you will become involved with service to the youth of the community. Through any number of fun-filled events, the Optimist Club of Chapel Hill raises funds to help many of the youth organizations of Chapel Hill. In addition, the club sponsors several educational programs for youth, such as the Optimist Oratorical Contest and the Optimist Essay Contest. Winners of each local contest advance through various levels and the ultimate winners receive scholarships.

If you enjoy good fellowship, interesting programs by community professionals and serving the youth of the community, the Optimist Club is the place for you.

Meetings are currently held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 5:30pm at the Bob Evans Restaurant, 5419 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. (US 15-501) in Durham.
